I had been mulling over the idea of hiring a coach and wondering what could a coach do for me that I couldn't do for myself?

Finally, one day I decided to take the leap - primarily out of a strong curiosity and secondly out of a strong need that I had to really change some things in my life. From the very first phone call it was clear to me that I had made the right decision. Jatrine's style of coaching is very straightforward; however, she manages to be very comforting as well. I consider myself to be an assertive "tell it like it is" person and I had never met someone who wasn't intimidated by that. Jatrine and I clicked immediately as I soon realized that I needed someone to "to tell it like it is" to me! Jatrine listens - really listens - to what you are saying as well as to what you are NOT saying. I mean, sometimes, it was kind of scary talking to her! She would never let me sway from the original goals that I had set. She always kept me on track. She has the uncanny ability to see things from a different perspective and not get bogged down in all of the emotions. The "homework" assignments, if taken seriously, are very revealing and motivating at the same time. Jatrine's overall approach is extremely professional yet you feel as if you have found a new best friend. I have never had the experience of feeling like someone was really focused solely on my needs and me!!
